Legal Notice – Temporary Weight Limit on Highways

LEGAL NOTICE ROAD WEIGHT LIMIT 2020

LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is Hereby Given that pursuant to Article 41, Section 1660, Paragraph 11 of the NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law, all Town Roads in the Town of Redfield, Oswego County, are temporarily closed to any vehicle with a gross load in excess of five (5) tons per axle.  Under this restriction, will be effective immediately, once the signs are posted on the roads, any vehicle (including load) in excess of five (5) tons per axle will not be permitted to operate on the Town Roads in the Town of Redfield.

LEGAL NOTICE PH LOCAL LAW 1 OF 2020

LEGAL NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Redfield will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 6:30pm at the Redfield Municipal Building located at 4830 County Route 17, Redfield, NY  13437.  The purpose of this public hearing is to hear all interested parties and citizens for or against the proposed Local Law #1 of 2020 A Local Law Opting Out of the Tax Exemption Under Real Property Tax Law §487.  A copy of the proposed law is available from the Town Clerk during regular office hours (Tuesday & Wednesday 9am – 2pm, Thursday 6:30pm – 8pm).  Any persons requiring accommodations to participate in the hearing should notify the town clerk at least three business days prior to the hearing.

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Redfield will hold a Special Meeting directly following the above Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, same location.  The purpose of this Special Meeting is to review the proposed Local Law #1 of 2020 and any other business that may come before the board.

TOWN OF REDFIELD

 

The Town of Redfield is accepting bids for the following used equipment:

1) Wood Chuck – Wood Chipper Model PTA41081 – AS IS

2) Roll-O-Static – Double Drum Roller – AS IS

Bidders should contact the Town of Redfield Highway Superintendent Paul Pratt at 1 Balcom Drive, Redfield, NY  13437, 315-599-7798.

Bids shall be provided to the Town Clerk by 2 pm on December 10, 2019.  Town Clerk, Susan Hough is located at 4830 Co Rt 17, Redfield, NY, (315) 599-7125, Tuesday & Wednesday 9am to 2pm, and Thursday 6:30pm to 8pm.  Bids will be opened and read aloud at the December Redfield Town Board Meeting, beginning at 7:30PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.  The Town of Redfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Legal Notice – No Parking / Not Liable during Snow Plowing

LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is Hereby Given that there will be no parking on town roads in the Town of Redfield from November 1, 2019 to April 15, 2020 between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 6:00a.m.  There will also be no parking in snowplow turnarounds at any time of day between the aforementioned dates and no parking at any time in school bus turnarounds.  Vehicles illegally parked will be towed away at the owner’s expense.

LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is Hereby Given that the Town of Redfield will not be liable for any damage to vehicles and/or personal property, including mailboxes that are within the Town’s right of way during the process of plowing and removing snow.
